What is the national flower of Japan?

There is no legally designated national flower.
However, the chrysanthemum, the crest of the imperial family, and the beloved
cherry blossom are commonly regarded as the national flowers of Japan.
While there are national flowers like China's plum blossom that have been designated by law, there are also many such as France's lily and iris, or Britain's rose and daffodil, that have come to be accepted informally.
